Next Steps on the Journey

So, what's next for Headwaters Mission Center? In light of the Congregational Leaders Retreat and the overwhelming desire of those leaders present to learn more about the World Church pilot program, "Discover and Live Your Future," Larry McGuire and his team are excited to work with our Mission Center. Several options came to light, including retreats, training "trainers" to guide members, and a combination of both. The Mission Center presidency team is in the process of gathering perspectives from congregational leaders and will share information as the next steps come into place.

But as some expressed at the retreat, what can we do TODAY?

Pray the Mission Prayer as a foundation for the rhythm of awakening, risking, and blessing.

Engage in Spiritual Practices. Check out missionalleaders.org for spiritual practices, familiar and new, to help you awaken to where God is working in, around, and before you. Remember, the power is in the repetition!

Speak with your congregational leaders about what they experienced at the retreat! As questions about where they feel God calling your congregation.
